Precision moulding consists of copying a piece that has complex surfaces and requires a lot of preciseness. As with the closed mould, we have to pour the liquid plastic into a hole on top of the mould and this same mould will have to be split in half in order to remove the piece. This type of mould is more expensive to produce because it has to be more rigid to have a copy as precise as possible. With this type of mould, we can produce about any mechanical piece. Please note that we can insert a metal core into the mould so it can be adapted to the specific device. The liquid plastic will be poured around this core.
